Dr. J. Russell Ramsay is a psychologist specializing in the assessment and psychosocial treatment of adults with ADHD. Prior to retiring from the University of Pennsylvania in 2023 to establish a full-time virtual psychology practice, he was co-founder and co-director of the University of Pennsylvania Adult ADHD Treatment and Research Program and a Professor of Clinical Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine. Board-certified in Behavioral and Cognitive Psychology, Dr. Ramsay is internationally recognized for his contributions to advancing evidence-based approaches to adult ADHD assessment and treatment.
A sought-after speaker, Dr. Ramsay has lectured internationally and is widely published, having authored numerous peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and research publications. He has written six books on adult ADHD, including his most recent, Once I Get Started: The Adult ADHD Program for Turning Your Intentions into Actions.
