Inger Shaye Colzie, MSW, LSW

Inger Shaye Colzie, MSW, LSW, is a nationally recognized leader in culturally responsive ADHD care, education, and leadership, working to transform how Black communities experience ADHD diagnosis, care, and support. Through the ADHD Black Professionals Alliance, she is building a national network of Black professionals, advocates, and families committed to improving awareness, access, representation, and outcomes for people with ADHD.

Receiving an ADHD diagnosis in her 50s not only reshaped her understanding of herself but also deepened the work she had spent decades doing. Today, she integrates decades of experience in behavioral health, executive leadership coaching, and organizational consulting with lived experience to bridge the gap between research and real life, translating complex science into practical strategies that improve care, leadership, and everyday functioning.

A trusted voice across healthcare, education, nonprofit, and corporate settings, IngerShaye helps professionals and organizations recognize the often-overlooked ways ADHD presents in Black adults, particularly Black women, and challenges systems that contribute to delayed diagnosis, misdiagnosis, and inequitable care.

Her work has been featured on the Today Show, NPR, and InStyle magazine, and she has presented for Stanford University, ADDA, CHADD, the International ADHD Conference, healthcare systems, universities, corporations, and community organizations nationwide.
